Opera Mineral Water is seeking a dependable and diligent Truck Delivery Driver capable of handling mechanical tasks and vehicle upkeep. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Safely and punctually transport Opera Mineral Water to designated destinations. Responsible for the loading and unloading of products at designated customer locations, ensuring efficient handling and adherence to safety protocols throughout the process. Verify deliveries by cross-referencing them with invoices and ensure receipt of signed proof of delivery. Perform daily assessments of the delivery truck to ensure its operational safety and reliability. Handle all mechanical repairs and perform regular vehicle maintenance tasks. Thoroughly assess machinery to detect any mechanical irregularities and immediately document and communicate all identified issues to the appropriate personnel. Maintain the truck in a clean state and ensure it operates in optimal condition at all times. Adhere to established road safety protocols and organizational policies at all times. Deliver courteous and helpful customer support with a professional demeanor and a welcoming attitude. Provide support for additional operational tasks as needed. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS A valid PSV (Passenger Service Vehicle) license, along with a Class B and Class C driver’s license, is required to operate delivery trucks. Valid NRC Experienced in truck driving and delivery operations, supported by verifiable references. Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with trucks or diesel-powered vehicles are required. Possesses a comprehensive understanding of Lusaka and its surrounding regions. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and standards is required. Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including the loading and unloading of trucks. Honest, punctual and responsible. Capable of performing duties autonomously with minimal oversight, demonstrating strong self-discipline and reliability in managing tasks independently. Professional communication abilities and a strong aptitude for customer service are essential. Clean driving record. Applicants residing in the Navarre area will receive priority consideration.
