- Facilitate business expansion (increasing revenue and market share) by guaranteeing the timely processing of facility letters, limit establishment, and disbursements—all while meeting agreed-upon Credit and Business Service Level Agreements and aligning with localized credit policies, standards, and procedural guidelines. Ensure that all instances of document deficiency receive proper legal opinions and secure credit waiver or deferral approvals as necessary. Demonstrate technical leadership and serve as a key resource on risk-related issues, with a primary focus on post-sanction fulfillment responsibilities. Effectively uphold facility constraints by guaranteeing that all published limits remain aligned with current sanction regulations, while also adhering to established operational protocols and procedures.
- Responsible for overseeing and maintaining rigorous post-sanction monitoring and control functions, including security maintenance items, limit management, excess management, timely and secure cash margin draws, committed and uncommitted facilities, and adherence to sanction conditions. Provide daily oversight of the excesses review process to verify that the relationship and markets teams have taken appropriate action on both reportable and non-reportable excesses. Oversee the integrity of covenants and conditions data by ensuring accurate capture, timely notification, and rigorous testing, while promptly flagging any overdue items and escalating breached covenants as necessary. Collaborate effectively with the internal legal department to manage non-standard commercial terms and the associated documentation updates. Serve as the designated liaison for both internal and external audits, overseeing the implementation and record-keeping of all corrective measures stemming from audit or assurance findings in Wholesale Credit.

- Oversee the production of accurate and comprehensive management information by the Risk Control Unit to support risk and business governance forums, as well as regulatory reporting requirements. Ensure strict compliance with segregation of duties, adhering to the maker-checker concept, across all processes within the Risk Control Unit, without any deviations. Periodically, the Risk Control Unit’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) plan undergoes testing to ensure its effectiveness and reliability. Provide assistance to the Head of the Risk Control Unit, Policy, Governance, and Change in executing User Acceptance Tests for new project implementations. To ensure impairment and loan loss rates remain within agreed thresholds, you will strictly comply with Credit/ICU processes and procedures. Monthly engagement in Portfolio, OWL, and RRCC meetings plays a pivotal role in strengthening the control environment by addressing critical Credit/Unrelated concerns, such as overdue facility letters, valuation reports, safe-to-Lend or early drawdown evaluations, breaches in sanction conditions, security maintenance requirements, and account excesses. This involvement ensures proactive oversight and alignment with established risk management protocols. Uphold strict adherence to all regulatory standards and conduct guidelines within the Risk Control Unit to prevent any potential breaches. Contribute recommendations to the development and establishment of the Wholesale Credit Policy as needed. Oversee the tracking of syndicate loans, ensuring timely repayment of installments, interest, and compliance with conditions in coordination with agent and participant banks. Engage in the evaluation of Wholesale Credit procedure manuals, maps, and CPAs to facilitate business operations, enhance current processes, and strengthen existing controls. The Business Risk Partnership role represents 20% of the overall position responsibilities, focusing on identifying, analyzing, and mitigating potential risks that could impact business objectives. This position requires a strong understanding of risk management frameworks, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision-making to support organizational stability and growth. Key responsibilities include assessing financial, operational, and reputational risks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and internal policies. Attend meetings alongside Corporate Credit Managers, Relationship Managers, and Securities teams to facilitate the resolution of any credit risk challenges. Maintain a consistently high standard of service delivery for all Business stakeholders. Provide assistance to the Head of Risk Control Unit, Policy, Governance, and Change in overseeing service delivery and performance to align with organizational objectives. Ensure full compliance with ICU guidelines while fostering a culture of knowledge exchange and best practices among Corporate Credit and Business stakeholders. Collaborate with Credit Managers and Relationship Managers to conduct customer visits, gaining deeper insights into their needs and enhancing service delivery.
