We are seeking a dedicated Social Work Officer to provide comprehensive support and advocacy for individuals and families in need. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Social Work or a related discipline, along with relevant professional experience. Formation / Diplômes

• Initiate and manage referrals to appropriate specialist service providers as required. Support initiatives focused on preventing and raising awareness about gender-based violence (GBV) and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV). Facilitate and uphold child protection and safeguarding measures to ensure a secure environment for all children. Demonstrate a commitment to fostering active involvement among women and youth in community development initiatives. Collaborate with community leaders, service providers, and local authorities to foster partnerships and enhance service delivery. Maintain confidential documentation of case-related information and community intervention activities. Appropriate follow-up visits will be conducted as necessary to ensure ongoing support and service excellence. Provide assistance for community training initiatives and awareness programs. Compile field reports and support program monitoring initiatives to ensure accurate data collection and ongoing assessment of project progress. IDEAL CANDIDATE A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, Sociology, Psychology, or an equivalent discipline is required. Applicants with a background in community-based social work or development programming will be viewed favorably. Demonstrates a solid grasp of safeguarding protocols and the processes for making appropriate referrals. Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in communication, empathy, and interpersonal interactions. Demonstrates a high level of empathy and discretion when engaging with and supporting individuals from vulnerable populations.
