Lecho Institute of Health Science and Technology is seeking a qualified and experienced Midwifery Tutor to join its academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality theoretical and practical instruction, supporting students’ professional development, and preparing them for clinical practice. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver midwifery lessons in accordance with the approved curriculum. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and examinations. Provide practical demonstrations and guide students during clinical learning. Assess students’ academic and practical performance and provide constructive feedback. Supervise students during clinical placements and ensure adherence to professional standards. Mentor and support students in developing appropriate clinical and professional competencies. Maintain accurate student attendance, assessment, and academic records. Participate in curriculum reviews, academic meetings, and institutional activities. Promote ethical, safe, and evidence-based midwifery practice. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Education with a Midwifery background, or Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education with a Midwifery background. Relevant professional registration and a valid practicing license where applicable. Strong knowledge of midwifery practice and medical education.
