Oversee a spectrum of operational duties encompassing strategic planning, execution oversight, and performance evaluation to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Assist in providing secure and precise patient care by preparing and distributing prescription and non-prescription medications, confirming the accuracy of prescriptions, and contributing to the overall efficiency of pharmacy services. Dispenses prescription and non-prescription medications in accordance with established protocols, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards while providing clear instructions to patients and healthcare providers regarding proper usage and potential interactions. Verifies the accuracy and legitimacy of prescriptions to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety protocols. Conducts thorough reviews of prescription details, including medication names, dosages, patient information, and prescriber credentials. Identifies and resolves discrepancies or potential issues, such as drug interactions or contraindications, in collaboration with healthcare providers when necessary. Maintains meticulous documentation of verification processes to support audit trails and regulatory adherence. Supporting the efficient execution of pharmacy operations to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to established protocols is a key responsibility. This role involves assisting with inventory management, order processing, and maintaining a well-organized workspace to facilitate optimal performance.
