URGENT VACANCY: MERCHANDISING LEAD Inert is looking for a proactive and highly organized Merchandising Lead to oversee merchandising operations for our clients across top retail chains. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing product visibility, maintaining optimal stock presentation, and ensuring consistent adherence to client brand guidelines. Reports to: Sales Director Monthly Salary: K6,000 Key Responsibilities Oversee and execute merchandising initiatives at designated retail locations. Oversee the implementation and coordination of field merchandising activities to ensure alignment with company standards and objectives. Responsible for maintaining accurate product displays, ensuring items are properly positioned for visibility, and consistently replenishing stock levels to meet customer demand. Responsibilities include organizing and ensuring the accuracy of nanograms, shelf arrangements, promotional displays, and adherence to brand standards. Perform routine evaluations of retail outlets to assess merchandising effectiveness. Monitor inventory levels and immediately flag items that are low in stock or unavailable, ensuring timely communication of these discrepancies. Monitor competitive products, pricing strategies, promotional efforts, and in-store executions to identify market trends and opportunities. Cultivate and maintain professional connections with store managers and retail associates. Verify that all promotional materials are strategically placed and consistently maintained. Gather comprehensive merchandising data and compile precise activity reports to ensure thorough documentation and analysis. Leverage Microsoft Excel and Word to manage records, interpret data, and compile reports efficiently. Deliver consistent performance reports to the Sales Director on a scheduled basis. Minimum Requirements Earned a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Business Administration, or possess an equivalent diploma in the field. Valid motorbike driving licence. Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, with a primary emphasis on Excel and Word. Effective communication, demonstrated leadership capabilities, and robust organizational competencies are essential. You must possess strong skills in reporting and maintaining accurate records. Demonstrates the capacity to operate autonomously while managing regular travel between designated retail locations. Professional experience in merchandising, retail, sales, or a comparable field would be highly beneficial.
