We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: PET Machine Operator Location: Ojo, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented PET Machine Operator to join our production team in Festac, Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) blow molding/injection machines to ensure efficient and quality production of PET bottles/preforms. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor PET blow molding/injection machines according to production schedules Load raw materials (PET resin/preforms) and ensure correct machine settings (temperature, pressure, cycle time) Monitor production output to identify defects, inconsistencies, or malfunctions and take corrective action Perform routine machine checks, minor troubleshooting, and basic maintenance Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications before packaging Record production data, downtime, and machine performance on shift reports Adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures at all times. Requirements Minimum of SSCE/OND in a technical field (Mechanical, Production, or related discipline is an advantage) 1–3 years’ hands-on experience operating PET blow molding, injection, or stretch blow molding machines Good understanding of PET production processes and machine parameters Ability to read and interpret production schedules and technical instructions Basic troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
