The Chief Investment Business Officer is a C-suite executive tasked with spearheading Bio Saw Biotechnology’s investment strategy, portfolio oversight, and capital allocation. This role encompasses asset allocation, investment performance evaluation, and risk mitigation to drive sustainable growth, while fostering critical relationships with investors, partners, and the Board. The position is based in Kigali, Rwanda. Key Responsibilities Include: Developing and implementing the company’s investment philosophy, risk framework, and long-term asset allocation strategy; Overseeing the investment portfolio through performance tracking, market analysis, and strategic decision-making; Leading capital-raising efforts and cultivating ties with institutional, private, and impact investors; Establishing risk management, liquidity, and compliance protocols aligned with governance and regulatory standards; Managing internal investment teams and supervising external investment managers and advisors; Presenting investment performance metrics and strategic insights to executive leadership and the Board. Qualifications Require: Executives with extensive experience in investment management, corporate finance, or strategic business development; A demonstrated history of portfolio governance, fundraising, and investor relations; Preference for candidates with a background in biotechnology, life sciences, healthcare, or adjacent fields; Exceptional leadership acumen, analytical prowess, governance expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
