Key Responsibilities
Guest Service:
Provide warm and personalized service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
Greet guests upon arrival, assist with seating arrangements, and provide menus.
Offer recommendations and answer questions about menu items, ensuring guests' needs are met.
Order Management:
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff promptly.

Knowledge of Menu:

Table Maintenance:

Assist in the set-up of banquet rooms, ensuring all tables, chairs, linens, and table settings are arranged according to event specifications.
Collaborate with the banquet team to arrange décor and other event elements.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
Communicate guest feedback and special requests to relevant team members.
Presentation:
Present a polished and professional appearance, adhering to the hotel's grooming and uniform standards.
Handle silverware, glassware, and other tableware with care and precision.
Adherence to Policies:
Adhere to health and safety regulations, food handling guidelines, and hotel policies.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness in personal work areas and adhere to hygiene standards.
Profile Sought
A minimum of 6 months working experience in a restaurant or hotel with a degree / diploma / certificate in hospitality management OR 2 years working experience in a restaurant or hotel with a non-hospitality management degree/diploma.
Previous experience in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel setting preferred.
Exceptional guest service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of fine dining etiquette and service standards.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements

Proven experience as a bartender in a high-end hotel, upscale bar, or fine dining establishment.
Extensive knowledge of mixology, cocktails, and beverage trends.
Exceptional guest service and communication skills.
Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.
