Cigna, a global health service company dedicated to helping the people we serve improve their health, well-being and sense of security, is seeking a Claims Representative for its International Organisation Health division. With almost 40,000 employees servicing over 80 million customer relationships worldwide, Cigna's international division, headquartered in Belgium, focuses on the needs of international clients.
As a Claims Representative, you will assess, process, and adjust medical claims accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and service level commitments. Reporting to the Claims Supervisor, you will work closely with global colleagues to deliver excellent customer outcomes and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, assess, and process medical claims accurately and within agreed turnaround times. Maintain accurate data entry across multiple systems. Apply analytical thinking and sound judgment when evaluating claims. Manage workload effectively while meeting quality and productivity targets. Escalate complex or unclear claims as appropriate. Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency. Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders. Support a positive, collaborative team environment.
Profile Sought:
Adhere to confidentiality requirements when handling sensitive medical information. What we're looking for includes a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field. Fluent in English is required. Additional languages such as French, Portuguese, Spanish, German, or Arabic are an advantage.
