Operations Team Supervisors

Kames Zambia Limited is currently seeking applications from well-qualified individuals for the Supervisor role. The ideal candidate will oversee and direct operational teams, guaranteeing the seamless execution of daily tasks while upholding stringent standards for quality, hygiene, and safety. Additionally, they will ensure that all employees adhere to company policies and established operational procedures. Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations and coordinate the assigned teams’ activities effectively.

• Oversee task assignments and evaluate employee performance to guarantee the attainment of operational objectives. Ensure strict compliance with established company policies, operational procedures, and workplace standards among all employees.
• Oversee staff adherence to attendance policies, punctuality standards, and overall workplace discipline.
• Ensure that cleanliness, hygiene, and workplace organization are consistently upheld to the highest standards. Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations by all personnel at all times. Daily team briefings are conducted, during which staff receive guidance on their assigned tasks. Analyze operational issues and develop targeted solutions to address and resolve them effectively. Maintain precise daily operational records and compile relevant reports for senior management.
• Oversee productivity levels to ensure tasks are completed promptly and in accordance with predetermined deadlines. Demonstrate leadership by offering personalized, on-site mentorship and guidance to employees, fostering measurable improvements in their performance and skill development. Promptly report any incidents, equipment malfunctions, or operational issues.
• Cultivate a collaborative, professional, and upbeat work culture that encourages teamwork and mutual respect.

Execute any additional tasks as directed by the leadership team. Minimum Requirements

• Must hold a Grade 12 School Certificate or its equivalent.
• A certification in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage, Catering, Food Production, or a related discipline is required.

Expérience

• Possession of a Diploma in a related discipline would be highly beneficial. Requires a minimum of one year of leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, hospitality, or comparable operational setting.
• Proven track record in leading teams effectively, managing day-to-day activities, and consistently meeting operational goals. Effective leadership capabilities, along with exceptional communication and interpersonal proficiencies, are essential. Demonstrates strong leadership by effectively delegating tasks, assessing team member performance, and upholding workplace standards.
• Demonstrated knowledge of workplace health, safety, and hygiene protocols. Proven capability to perform effectively under tight deadlines and in high-pressure scenarios without compromising accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is an advantageous skill set.
• Maintains a polished and professional appearance at all times, demonstrating exceptional personal hygiene standards.
• Driver’s License.
• A current Police Clearance Certificate is required.
