Sales Trainee

DHL, the world's leading logistics company, is looking for a Sales Trainee to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position ideal for recent graduates with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

In this role, you will administer sales sub-function plans and processes to deliver business growth, profitability, and enhance customer retention for a defined area or territory, in line with our business strategy, financial objectives, and group guidelines. You will manage sales plans covering forecasts, revenues, costs, and budgets, and strengthen your commercial exposure by participating in customer meetings, joint sales visits, and the quotation and negotiation process. You will also assist in formulating concepts to manage critical pricing policies, monitor profitability against targets, and handle price re-negotiations. Additionally, you will perform reconciliation of sales, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas, and highlight improvement areas based on pipeline reporting in collaboration with sales effectiveness.

As a Sales Trainee, you will apply prescribed processes to research market trends and customer requirements, supporting the translation of products and services into solutions that meet their needs. You will support coordination to implement customer strategies, contract negotiations, cross-selling activities, and supply chain management processes. You will also administer sales support processes and tools to ensure sales force effectiveness.
