The Systems Improvement Manager is a key position within the Administrative & Financial Affairs department, reporting to the Strategy Operations Lead, and is instrumental in advancing the university’s operational excellence by designing, refining, and overseeing organizational processes, policies, and governance frameworks. This role collaborates with operational units to ensure processes are efficient, compliant, scalable, and aligned with institutional priorities, regulatory requirements, and the university’s mission. By integrating process reengineering, governance oversight, risk management, and stakeholder leadership, the position enables the university to deliver outstanding services to students, faculty, staff, and the broader community. The ideal candidate demonstrates structured thinking, collaborative problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous improvement, with the ability to transform operational challenges into sustainable, well-governed solutions. Key responsibilities include leading the assessment, mapping, design, and ongoing enhancement of core administrative and operational processes across the university. The role involves identifying inefficiencies, redundancies, and risk factors, then proposing solutions grounded in industry best practices. Proactively addressing operational risks and developing mitigation strategies within governance frameworks is essential, as is ensuring compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and audit standards through meticulous process documentation and reporting. Regular quality reviews are conducted to uphold process effectiveness, sustainability, and compliance, while key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance dashboards are developed to support data-driven decision-making. Additionally, the position establishes and maintains governance frameworks, policies, and standard operating procedures to promote transparency, consistency, and adherence to legal, accreditation, financial, and ethical requirements in higher education and nonprofit sectors. Monitoring compliance with established standards and recommending corrective actions when necessary is a core function, as is supporting the operations strategy by translating strategic directives into actionable process initiatives, project plans, and change management activities. The role requires close collaboration with internal units to ensure processes, systems, and governance frameworks align with long-term institutional goals, while serving as a trusted advisor on best practices in process and governance. Driving change management initiatives related to process improvements—including communication planning, training delivery, and stakeholder readiness assessments—is critical, as is fostering strong institutional relationships to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and operational alignment. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field, with a proven track record in process management, organizational governance, risk governance, or operations strategy (a master’s degree is preferred). Candidates must possess at least five years of relevant experience

  • Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
  • Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
  • Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
  • Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
  • Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
  • A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
