Job Title: Content Moderator (Trust & Safety Specialist) Location: Remote (Global) The Content Moderator is tasked with evaluating and overseeing user-generated content to uphold platform policies, legal obligations, and community standards. This position is essential in fostering a secure, respectful, and interactive online space by detecting and removing content that breaches guidelines, such as abuse, harassment, hate speech, misinformation, explicit material, or other harmful content. Key responsibilities include reviewing and addressing flagged content—spanning text, images, and videos—to ensure adherence to platform protocols, with particular emphasis on high-priority cases and complex scenarios requiring human evaluation. The role involves monitoring daily queues to identify emerging abuse patterns (e.g., novel spam tactics, organized hate campaigns) and promptly escalating findings to the Policy team. Additionally, the moderator will assess the effectiveness of moderation tools and propose workflow adjustments to enhance review efficiency without compromising accuracy, while maintaining a minimum 95% accuracy rate in decision-making. Participation in calibration sessions is required to ensure consistent policy application, and the moderator will provide actionable feedback to refine guidelines when ambiguities or real-world conflicts arise. Investigating content removals and account suspensions, the moderator will make final determinations on reinstatement requests, prioritizing fairness and due process. During critical incidents, such as graphic live streams or coordinated harassment efforts, the moderator will serve as a primary responder. Requirements: A minimum of two years of experience in Content Moderation, Trust & Safety Operations, or Community Management within a major tech or social media environment. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detecting nuanced violations that automated systems may overlook (e.g., concealed hate symbols in visuals) and is proficient in moderation platforms (e.g., Hive, Based, Salesforce) alongside Google Workspace. Experience in managing surges in content volume during global events or viral trends is highly valued. Emotional resilience is critical, as the role demands exposure to distressing material (e.g., violence, hate speech, adult content) and the implementation of strategies to maintain digital well-being. A strong grasp of regional differences, cultural sensitivities, and historical contexts is necessary, along with the ability to discern between hate speech and protected political expression or between extremist content and legitimate journalistic material. The candidate must demonstrate a history of sustaining quality standards while processing a substantial volume of content (e.g., 8

When addressing Salesforce in your application for Odixcity Consulting, frame your past experience as results, not just duties. For example, instead of "managed social media," say "increased engagement by 30% through targeted campaigns." This shows measurable impact.
Positioning — Your cover letter must answer one question: why YOU for THIS specific role right NOW? Avoid generic templates — one sentence on what you specifically bring beats three generic paragraphs.
Campaign portfolio — Prepare 2-3 campaign examples with objectives, channels used, and results (reach, engagement, conversions). Note: communication recruiters systematically check your personal social profiles.

•Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
•Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
•Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
•Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
•Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
•A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
