The UNICEF is seeking a Consultancy Consultant for a national CAP survey on nutrition in Niger, based in Niamey for a duration of three months. The consultant will work under the direct supervision of the Nutrition Specialist and collaborate closely with the National Information Platform for Nutrition (PNIN). Responsibilities include designing and implementing the survey, developing data collection tools, supervising field data collection, ensuring data quality, conducting statistical and qualitative analysis, and producing a comprehensive report with practical recommendations. The role also involves organizing workshops to validate results with national stakeholders. University degree in nutrition, public health, epidemiology, statistics, or related field Minimum eight years of experience in designing and conducting CAP surveys Proven experience in nutrition and public health Experience in developing protocols and data collection tools Experience in West Africa or fragile contexts preferred Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills Excellent writing and analytical skills Ability to train data collection teams Proficient in data analysis software Fluent in French; English proficiency is a plus
