The Principal, Policy will collaborate with the Regional Policy Lead and various teams to advance the Bank's transition mandate in Sub-Saharan Africa. This role involves developing sector-specific reform agendas, assessing economic performance, and preparing country diagnostics and strategies. The Principal will engage with internal and external stakeholders, lead projects, and represent the Bank in external forums. A strong commitment to the Bank's transition agenda and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position. Postgraduate degree in economics, finance, public or business administration Relevant work experience in financial institutions, government, or consultancy Solid understanding of development and governance in SSA Experience in project management and leadership in multi-disciplinary teams Strong commitment to the Bank's transition agenda Excellent networking capabilities Ability to communicate complex issues to diverse stakeholders Fluency in written and spoken English Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
