The Principal Banker will oversee project development and implementation, focusing on Sustainable Infrastructure projects in Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa. This role involves leading project teams, managing client relationships, and contributing to policy dialogue. The Principal Banker will also engage in business development and staff management, ensuring effective coaching and mentoring of junior bankers. The position requires strong financial expertise and the ability to navigate complex transactions within the energy and infrastructure sectors. Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred Professional qualification (ACA, CFA, ACCA, CIMA desirable) Strong quantitative/numerical skills Credit analysis skills Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, financial modeling) Stakeholder management skills Coaching and mentoring skills Relationship management and negotiation skills Excellent written and oral communication skills in English Significant financial industry experience Experience in project finance and/or climate finance
