About the Role: Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Entry-Level Public Health Officer to support the implementation of public health programs and promote community health and safety. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to build a career in public health.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and implementing public health programs and activities.
Conduct community health education and awareness campaigns.
Support environmental health inspections and compliance monitoring.
Collect, analyze, and maintain public health data and records.
Prepare reports on health interventions and program outcomes.
Participate in disease prevention and health promotion initiatives.
Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
Assist in organizing health outreach activities and campaigns.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Profile: Bachelor Degree in Public Health or Environmental Health (highly preferred). Registration with the relevant professional body is an added advantage. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good report writing and organizational skills. Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Candidates residing within Karen and its environs are highly encouraged to apply.
