Expert Application Advice

When tailoring your CV for Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI), make sure to give a concrete example of how you met Linux—even if from a project or internship. Many recruiters scan for this first. It shows you understand what they truly need.

Positioning — Your cover letter must answer one question: why YOU for THIS specific role right NOW? Avoid generic templates — one sentence on what you specifically bring beats three generic paragraphs.

First role — Lead with motivation and concrete academic/personal projects. Show thorough research on this organization — curious, well-informed junior candidates consistently outperform more experienced but less engaged profiles.
