REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) Procurement of a Community Solar Dryer RFQ No.: LACD/LIFE/2026/009 Issue Date: July 24, 2026 Closing Date: August 6, 2026 Project: LIFE (Livelihood, Innovation, Food Security and Entrepreneurship) Programme Funded by: Irish Aid through Concern Worldwide Invitation The Liberia Agency for Community Development (LACD) invites qualified suppliers, manufacturers, and authorized distributors to submit quotations for the supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of three (3) Community Solar Dryers to be use by the smallholder farmers under the LIFE Programme in Liberia. Background LACD is implementing the LIFE Programme with funding from Irish Aid through Concern Worldwide. As part of efforts to strengthen agricultural value addition, reduce post-harvest losses, and improve household incomes, LACD intends to procure community-scale solar dryers for processing agricultural products produced by smallholder farmers and women farmer (Mother groups). Scope of Supply The successful supplier shall:
- Supply three (3 ) complete solar dryer.
- Deliver the equipment to LACD.
- Install and commission the equipment.
- Conduct operational and maintenance training for LACD staff and selected farmer representatives.
- Provide manuals and warranty documentation. 4. - Corrosion-resistant frame
- Collector area of approximately 2–4 m² Drying Chamber
- Food-grade construction
- Weather resistant
- Lockable access door
- Insect-proof ventilation
- Adequate insulation Drying Trays
- 8–12 removable trays
