Consultancy for Hydrogeological Assessment in the Districts of Chimoio, Manica and Gondola in Manica Province to Improve Understanding of Groundwater Occurrences
IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) is seeking proposals for a consultancy to conduct a hydrogeological assessment in the districts of Chimoio, Manica and Gondola in Manica Province, Mozambique. The objective is to improve understanding of groundwater occurrences as part of the MozWateR programme, Mainstreaming and Integrated Water Resources Management.
Context and Objectives
The consultancy will involve hydrogeological assessment, hydrocensus, geophysical investigations, groundwater quality assessment, groundwater monitoring, drilling of observation boreholes (piezometers), and preparation of management recommendations.
