Job Description Location: Tema community 25 Department: Procurement About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage the company’s sourcing and purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining high-quality standards and strong supplier relationships. Core Responsibilities Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Strategic Procurement: Source and procure materials, equipment, and services at the best possible price while ensuring quality standards. Budget Control: Monitor and manage the procurement budget to ensure cost-effectiveness and minimize unnecessary expenses. Procurement Process Management: Oversee the end-to-end procurement process—from purchase requisition and order creation to delivery and inspection of goods and services. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements. Inventory Oversight: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, coordinating with relevant departments as needed. Contract Management: Prepare, review, and manage supplier contracts, ensuring all terms are clear, compliant, and enforceable. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as Property Management and Accounts to align procurement activities with operational needs. Required Skills or Experience Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 3–5 years of proven experience in procurement or supply chain management. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Excellent organizational and analytical abilities. Familiarity with procurement software and inventory management systems.
