Présentation du poste : Le Technician Support soutient les activités de maintenance des installations du Koidu Government Hospital (KGH) et du Maternal Center of Excellence (MCOE) en assistant dans les travaux électriques, la maintenance des générateurs, le CVC, la plomberie, la maintenance matérielle et les travaux de maintenance générale. Travaillant sous la supervision du Head of Maintenance, ce rôle joue un rôle essentiel pour assurer le bon fonctionnement quotidien des installations hospitalières essentielles. Le Technician Support contribue à la maintenance de l'infrastructure hospitalière en facilitant le travail des techniciens, en fournissant un soutien manuel pour la manipulation des outils et des matériaux, et en aidant à ce que les tâches de maintenance soient effectuées efficacement et en toute sécurité.
Responsabilités :
Assister aux tâches de base liées aux installations électriques, réparations et mises à niveau, y compris le tirage de câbles, le travail de conduit et le remplacement de luminaires.
Soutenir la maintenance des générateurs avec des tâches comme les vidanges d'huile, le remplacement de filtres, les vérifications de carburant et le nettoyage des salles de générateurs.
Soutenir les techniciens CVC dans l'entretien des splits, des systèmes VRF et des cassettes, y compris le nettoyage des filtres, l'assistance aux conduits et le débouchage des lignes de drainage.
Soutenir les travaux de plomberie, y compris les installations de tuyaux, les réparations de fuites, le nettoyage des réservoirs d'eau et les inspections du système septique.
Effectuer des tâches de base comme le nettoyage des équipements, l'organisation de l'espace de travail et l'identification des dangers pour la sécurité.
Assister à la maintenance et à la réparation des portes, serrures, poignées, charnières, tiroirs, armoires et vitrages de fenêtres.
Fournir un soutien physique lors de l'installation et du retrait d'équipements, d'installations, de fixations mécaniques, de quincaillerie de bâtiment et d'accessoires dans l'établissement hospitalier.
Aider au chargement/déchargement des matériaux, au transport des outils, équipements, pièces et matériaux du stockage aux zones utilitaires dans l'établissement hospitalier.
Maintenir la propreté et l'ordre dans les espaces de travail techniques (par exemple, salles de générateurs, ateliers, zones utilitaires).
Soutenir l'équipe de maintenance des installations avec des inspections de routine autour de l'établissement et signaler les défauts aux superviseurs hiérarchiques.
Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de maintenance, d'exploitation et biomédicales de l'hôpital pour soutenir les projets d'infrastructure.
Collaborer avec des entrepreneurs ou techniciens externes si nécessaire.
Utiliser des équipements de protection et suivre les procédures de santé et de sécurité au travail.

Expérience : 1 à 2 ans d'expérience en tant que support technique, assistant de maintenance ou agent de maintenance, soit sur un chantier de construction, soit dans l'industrie hôtelière. Avoir une compétence en soudure, maçonnerie, carrelage, plomberie, menuiserie ou peinture sera un atout supplémentaire. L'expérience de travail dans un établissement hospitalier est un atout supplémentaire. Capacité à travailler avec des outils à main, des outils électriques et à suivre des instructions techniques. Capacité à travailler sous supervision et à suivre attentivement les instructions. Force et endurance physique, fiabilité et volonté d'effectuer du travail manuel et des tâches pratiques. Requisition Number: Line Management Position Overview The Technician support, supports the facilities maintenance activities of both Koidu Government Hospital (KGH) and the Maternal Center of Excellence (MCOE) by assisting in electrical works, generator maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, hardware maintenance, and general maintenance works. Working under the supervision of the Head of Maintenance, the role plays a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of essential hospital facilities. The Technician Support contributes to the maintenance of hospital infrastructure by facilitating the work of technicians, by providing manual support to handling tools & materials, and helping ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and safely .
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties & Responsibilities. Assist with basic tasks related to electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades, including cable pulling, conduit work, and light fixture replacement. Support the during generator maintenance with tasks like oil changes, filter replacement, fuel checks, and cleaning of generator rooms. Support HVAC technicians in servicing of split units, VRF systems, and cassettes, including filter cleaning, ducting assistance, and drain line clearing. Support with plumbing works, including pipe installations, leak repairs, water tank cleaning, and septic system inspections. Perform basic tasks like equipment cleaning, workspace organization, and safety hazard identification. Assist in maintaining and repair of doors, locks, handles, hinges, drawers, cabinets, and window glazing. Provide physical support during installation and removal of equipment, installations, mechanical fixtures, building hardware and accessories within the hospital facility. Help in loading/offloading of materials, transporting tools, equipment, parts, and materials from storage to utility areas within the hospital facility. Maintain cleanliness and order in technical workspaces (e.g., generator rooms, workshops, utility zones). Support the facilities maintenance team with routine inspection around the facility and reporting faults to line supervisors. Work closely with the hospital’s maintenance, operation, and biomedical teams to support infrastructural projects; Collaborate with external contractors or technicians when necessary; Use protective equipment and follow occupational health and safety procedures. Education and Work Experience Requirements: Education & Training Requirements .
1–2 years of experience as technical support, maintenance assistant, or maintenance agent roles either in a construction project site or hospitality industry. Having a skill in welding, masonry, tiling, plumbing, carpentry or painting will be an added advantage. Experience working in a hospital facility is an added advantage. Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and follow technical instructions. Ability to work under supervision and follow instructions carefully. Physical strength & stamina, reliable, and willing to perform manual labor and hands-on tasks. Quick learner with a proactive attitude and strong work ethic. Willingness to support multiple teams across various maintenance disciplines. Team player, respectful, and professional in a healthcare environment.
