Job Summary Responsible for accurately dispensing and receiving cash and other related instruments. Delivers exceptional customer service to individuals visiting the branch. Job Description Main accountabilities and approximate time split 40% Cash counter service :

• Cashing of cheques and withdrawals.
• Supervising other tellers at the counter
• Process both cash and cheque deposits/credits
• Purchase and sale of foreign currencies Handle general customer inquiries efficiently and courteously at the point of sale, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to address their questions or concerns.
• Reconciles cash in personal drawer and provides support to other tellers with their balancing procedures when necessary Responsible for preparing vouchers for further handling at the central processing facility or back-office.

Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by performing Customer Service Advisor and inquiry-related duties as necessary, serving solely as a secondary support role when required. Occasionally, you will assume responsibility for addressing and resolving customer inquiries and grievances, ensuring timely and effective solutions are provided.
• Back up ATM card printing. 30% Cash management – strong room custodianship:
• Cash sorting and repatriation. Monitor cash levels stored in the strong room continuously throughout the day to verify that both denominations remain within established thresholds. Order branch cash from the cash provider or central bank, ensuring compliance with the limits stipulated by the country head office. All cash-related discrepancies must be promptly reported to the Branch Operation Team Leader or Branch Operation Manager following established protocols. Verify that front-line Customer Service Advisors adhere to proper procedures when packaging cash. Recommend optimal reorder quantities of cash to the Head Custodian based on current demand patterns and usage trends.
• Verify that all tellers and vault balances are reconciled prior to branch closure as part of the Branch Cash Reconciliation process.

Expérience

• Restock the ATM cash supply. Sort and organize cash designated for the ATM to ensure it consists solely of pristine, undamaged notes, such as aligning and flattening the bills as needed. Return any unsuitable or compromised currency to the designated cash supplier for replacement or reprocessing.
