Security Manager You will oversee the continuous surveillance and management of security operations, ensuring the protection of organizational assets and personnel through vigilant monitoring and proactive measures. dnata Zanzibar You will enforce established security policies, regulations, rules, and standards while ensuring a secure environment for both employees and visitors within the organization. This role is based in Zanzibar, Tanzania In this role, you will: The security department must be supervised and administered diligently to guarantee the secure and economically efficient management of flights and security service provisions. Develop and execute comprehensive aviation security plans, policies, and procedures that align with all applicable regulatory mandates and adhere to industry-recognized best practices.

• Establish and implement the strategic direction for the Security Operations function, ensuring alignment and integration across all levels of the organization. Develop and implement robust security policies and procedures that align with applicable regulatory mandates and established industry best practices.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to security personnel to maintain efficient and effective security operations. Oversee the supervision and management of security personnel, encompassing responsibilities such as staff training, scheduling, and performance assessments. The position involves implementing and sustaining continuous training initiatives to bolster the proficiency and effectiveness of security personnel, focusing on key competencies such as threat detection, emergency response protocols, and client service excellence. Ensure the implementation of robust security protocols such as access control, screening procedures, and security patrols to protect aviation facilities, personnel, and assets. Ensure adherence to aviation security regulations, standards, and directives from relevant authorities, including the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and national aviation regulatory bodies. Compiling and delivering comprehensive security reports, actionable findings, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and regulatory authorities forms a core responsibility of this role.

Expérience

• Responsible for developing and implementing strategic security plans, providing decisive leadership, and actively overseeing operations to uphold an exceptional standard of safety and protection across the organization. Qualification To qualify for this position, candidates must fulfill the following prerequisites: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field along with at least five years of hands-on experience in Security, specifically within Airport Operations, is required.
• Fluency in spoken and written English Capable of functioning autonomously as a front-line supervisor, strong leadership abilities are a prerequisite for this role. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal abilities, a positive and approachable demeanor, and maintain excellent physical well-being.
