To contribute to its team, the selected individual will oversee the seamless functioning, upkeep, and dependability of the plant’s electrical and automation systems. Key responsibilities Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving issues within PLC systems and associated instrumentation, specifically focusing on temperature sensors, limit switches, proximity sensors, flow switches, flow monitors, and pressure switches to ensure optimal operational performance. Execute parameterization and sustain Frequency Drive Systems to ensure optimal functionality and reliability. Interpret electrical schematics and diagrams to facilitate efficient diagnostic procedures for electrical control systems.

• Ensure electrical equipment is installed correctly by conducting thorough inspections and performing essential tests, such as continuity checks, polarity verification, insulation resistance testing, and earthing system assessments. Identify and rectify any deviations or irregularities uncovered during inspection and testing procedures.
• Oversee and synchronize shift operations to uphold plant functionality and maximize production capacity utilization. Oversee production processes seamlessly and address equipment malfunctions without delay. Perform scheduled equipment inspections in accordance with established checklists, documenting and escalating any deviations or irregularities observed.
• Develop and compile monthly technical reports detailing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, as well as equipment breakdowns. Conduct in-depth Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for equipment failures that extend beyond one hour, documenting findings to identify underlying causes and prevent recurrence. Conduct daily toolbox meetings prior to the start of any task to uphold and enforce safety compliance standards. Maintain accurate documentation of all shift activities in the designated logbook and ensure that reports are prepared and submitted promptly through Excel. Provide assistance in executing maintenance management strategies, encompassing spare parts inventory, scheduled maintenance tasks, planned outages, and initiatives to enhance plant reliability.

Oversee and regulate inventory levels for essential spare parts to ensure optimal availability and minimize shortages. Collaborate effectively with the Supply Chain Department to guarantee the timely availability and long-term durability of essential components. Requirements

Expérience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering. A Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is advantageous. Hold active registration with the Engineers Registration Board (ERA) as a Graduate Engineer. Professional Engineer registration is considered a valuable asset for this role. Requires a minimum of three years of practical experience in a related field. Proficient in both written and verbal English communication.
