To oversee the end-to-end management of all Application systems, ensuring their seamless implementation, ongoing maintenance, and strategic enhancement in alignment with suitable platform technologies. Deliver comprehensive IT availability reports to systematically track and evaluate agreed-upon levels of availability, reliability, and maintainability on a continuous basis. Implement measures aimed at minimizing both the incidence and downtime of events that compromise IT system availability. Identify and address shortfalls in IT availability by recognizing them promptly and implementing suitable corrective measures to resolve them effectively. Develop and oversee a strategic availability plan designed to enhance the overall reliability of IT services and infrastructure components, ensuring alignment with both current and anticipated availability demands. Regular reports must be generated to keep the business informed of availability status, encompassing both pre-handover database extracts and post-batch processing summaries at the conclusion of each day or month. Convene and facilitate systematic assessments of availability in collaboration with essential business and IT stakeholders to ensure ongoing alignment and operational integrity. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement measures that sustain or enhance system availability. Initiate and oversee necessary measures to sustain or enhance the operational readiness of applications, ensuring seamless functionality and accessibility. Serve as the central liaison for adjusting application availability levels as required. To ascertain the availability requirements from the business for new or enhanced IT applications. Develop and implement metrics and reporting frameworks to accurately capture and communicate business, user, and IT support needs regarding application availability. Remain informed about leading technology practices that enhance application uptime and reliability. Projects and UAT Support Collaborate effectively with the change team to assist with new initiatives driven by business, government bodies, the TRA, and the broader group.

• Assist in addressing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) challenges associated with Applications for new projects or enhancements, while conducting sanity testing to ensure basic functionality. The role involves developing innovative products within the core banking application, tailored to align with emerging projects or evolving business requirements driven by market trends and customer preferences. Attend meetings or conference calls throughout the entire duration of the project, commencing at the project’s initiation and concluding at its completion. Facilitate the deployment of cutting-edge solutions tailored to address and fulfill customer requirements effectively.
• Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery A key contributor to Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Disaster Recovery (DR) initiatives for all critical systems. Provide assistance in executing the yearly business continuity test plan. Provide comprehensive resume assistance to all business functions and processes, ensuring completion within the agreed-upon timeframe. Support roles As requested by the business, the position involves executing tariff implementations within the system to ensure alignment with organizational requirements and operational standards. We oversee and facilitate all audit-related activities within our designated sections, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards. This role involves coordinating audit preparations, executing operational procedures, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, we provide guidance and assistance to team members throughout the audit process to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
• Engage with incidents, ensuring resolution within the agreed SLA, and follow up with users to provide feedback upon issue closure. Conduct daily assessments of server health and initiate server or service restarts whenever necessary. Daily reports must be prepared and submitted for online, ATM, and maintenance transactions handled during each shift. Ensure that no unauthorized transactions are processed on the FCC system to facilitate End-of-Day (EOD) and End-of-Month (EOM) operations. Ensure closure of all branch batches prior to initiating the End-of-Day or End-of-Month batch process.
• Execution of EOD/EOM batch run Delivers expert-level assistance in resolving intricate technical challenges and spearheading initiatives tied to designated automation systems, databases, and related technical products and services, with particular emphasis on the upcoming relocation of the primary data center within the country. Uses diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to conduct maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and restore system functionality or data integrity, ensuring operational continuity with the primary data center located within the country. Communicates with clarity and precision—both verbally and in written form—regarding intricate, large-scale technical matters, ensuring the intended audience comprehends the information effortlessly. Participates actively in the migration of systems from development to production environments, as well as in upgrades, system setup, and configuration tasks within the primary data center. Troubleshoots application issues by adhering to established guidelines, utilizing predefined templates, or following instructions provided by colleagues. Understands quality, security, and compliance standards applicable to supported areas, meticulously evaluating changes for potential risks to production systems. Demonstrates comprehension of and commitment to established change control procedures and methodologies. Demonstrates a keen interest in researching, assessing, and comprehending emerging technologies. An individual with strong analytical skills, capable of methodically tracing issues to their root cause through structured, logical reasoning. Troubleshooting production issues escalated by end users and delivering effective solutions to restore system functionality and minimize downtime. Qualifications The role requires strong analytical thinking capabilities, meeting all specified benchmarks, along with a solid digital affinity, also fulfilling all prerequisites. While experience in a comparable setting is expected, further education credentials include a Further Education and Training Certificate (ETC) in Physical, Mathematical, Computer, and Life Sciences.
