Senior Project Planner

Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
Establish comprehensive maintenance schedules, encompassing weekly, monthly, and annual intervals, for all OEM equipment. Develop and implement schedules for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability. Coordinate planned shutdowns and scheduled machine service interventions in collaboration with the client’s maintenance teams. To uphold maintenance schedules in full compliance with OEM guidelines and contractual obligations. Develop and oversee daily work schedules for both technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient task allocation and operational workflow.
Work Order Management
Prepare, distribute, and monitor work orders to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. Oversee the completion of work orders and verify their accurate closure within the maintenance management system. Ensure the accurate recording of all labor hours, parts consumption, and maintenance documentation. Ensure accurate documentation of equipment maintenance history and service records.
Resource Planning
Develop projections of staffing needs for upcoming maintenance activities. To facilitate operational readiness, organize and manage the procurement, allocation, and scheduling of tools, consumables, and specialized equipment. Efficiently deploy service personnel to meet operational demands.
Spare Parts Planning
Track the usage and inventory levels of spare parts to ensure adequate supply. Develop parts forecasts by analyzing equipment running hours and maintenance schedules. Our role involves collaborating closely with supply chain and warehouse teams to proactively avert stock-out situations. We assist in the development of procurement strategies for components with extended lead times.
Equipment Performance Monitoring
Monitor machine availability, utilization, efficiency, and downtime to ensure optimal performance and minimize operational disruptions. Evaluate maintenance patterns to detect repetitive equipment malfunctions and their underlying causes. Conduct in-depth root cause analyses to identify underlying issues and recommend corrective actions. To optimize equipment performance, propose strategic maintenance enhancements and implement upgrades where necessary.
Client Coordination
Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly client planning meetings to ensure alignment and progress tracking. Disseminate advance notifications regarding scheduled maintenance needs and anticipated periods of machine inoperability. Facilitate seamless coordination between OEM support operations and client production schedules to maintain operational alignment. Cultivate and sustain professional rapport with client representatives to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Reporting
Craft detailed reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to document maintenance activities and outcomes. Report on essential performance metrics, referred to as key performance indicators (KPIs), encompassing the following: Equipment Availability, Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) is a critical reliability metric used to assess the average duration a system, component, or device operates before encountering a failure. This metric is essential for evaluating operational efficiency, maintenance planning, and overall system dependability. A higher MTBF value indicates greater reliability and reduced frequency of unexpected downtime, which is particularly important in industries where equipment reliability directly impacts productivity and safety. Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) refers to the average duration required to restore a system, product, or service to its operational state following an incident or failure. This metric is essential for assessing operational efficiency, system reliability, and the effectiveness of maintenance processes. It is commonly tracked in industries such as manufacturing, IT, and telecommunications, where minimizing downtime is critical to performance and productivity.
