IT Systems Administrator

Summary of Profile The ideal candidate must effectively manage IT administration, hardware/IT asset management, and the support of core ICT systems and users through a proactive, hands-on methodology. This role requires experience in overseeing end-user technologies, guaranteeing seamless operational performance, and ensuring the reliability of the organization’s computer systems. Core responsibilities description:

• End User Technology Support: Ensure the seamless operation of essential end-user technologies that underpin core business delivery platforms. Promptly handle user requests and resolve technical issues to maintain seamless business operations.
• IT Equipment Administration: Oversee the management and administration of all IT assets, encompassing desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and servers. Handle internal customer inquiries and resolve them in accordance with the established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Network and Systems Management: Oversee the administration and maintenance of network infrastructure, including remote networks, ISPs, and system connectivity. Provide technical assistance and maintain the operational integrity of the organization’s network infrastructure.
• System Monitoring and Maintenance: Responsible for overseeing system disruptions, downtimes, and technical issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Execute system installations, manage change implementations, and address technical issues with urgency and efficiency.
• User Management:
• Oversee the activation and administration of user accounts, manage IT asset registers, and monitor user alerts to ensure system integrity and security.

Formation / Diplômes

• Develop and oversee an IT Management Information System (MIS) platform to ensure precise reporting and seamless end-user accessibility.
• Vendor Management: Oversee technology support vendors to guarantee adherence to stringent Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Develop and oversee IT budget strategies aimed at optimizing financial performance and reducing expenditures.
• Change Management: Develop, implement, and oversee change management processes and governance frameworks to ensure smooth transitions and alignment with organizational objectives. Maintain comprehensive audit trails and furnish regular reports to the board of directors.
• Oversight of Emerging Technology Integration: Spearheading the evaluation, adoption, and implementation of novel technological solutions to enhance operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
• Facilitate the seamless adoption of emerging technologies and oversee the successful deployment of new systems. Develop a comprehensive digital technology stack designed for future deployment, enabling the delivery of services to end clients through web-based platforms, USED interfaces, interactive web designs, and CRM systems. Oversee the administration of database systems, ensure timely licensing and renewal processes, maintain robust backup protocols, and streamline the functionality of IT office tools. A degree in Computer Science, Computing, Engineering, or a related IT field is strongly preferred.

Expérience

• A minimum of four to six years of professional experience is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in IT administration, hardware configuration, and fundamental software management. Relevant advantages may include additional tertiary education, specialized IT training, or completed courses in the field.

Possesses a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving, grounded in technical expertise. Communication skills, particularly with relevant project experience, would be considered an advantageous asset. A practical, hands-on approach and relevant professional references would be considered beneficial. 9.
