Professional Driver Instructor

Professional Driving Instruction and Driver Education Services are provided to equip learners with essential driving skills and road safety knowledge. This role encompasses delivering comprehensive behind-the-wheel training, classroom-based theoretical instruction, and practical demonstrations to ensure proficiency in vehicle operation and adherence to traffic regulations. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license, possess prior teaching or instructional experience in a similar capacity, and demonstrate strong communication abilities. Responsibilities include developing customized lesson plans, assessing student progress, maintaining accurate records of training sessions, and ensuring compliance with local driving education standards and safety protocols. The necessary qualifications for this position encompass a diverse set of competencies, including:

Formation / Diplômes

• Developing and delivering hands-on instructional sessions designed to comprehensively address all facets of driving education.
• Delivering comprehensive instruction on vehicle components, operational functions, and applicable on-road regulations.
• Compiling and submitting detailed updates on the driver’s performance and development. Report accidents and incidents promptly to the logistics and workshop manager. Responsibilities include the organization and upkeep of all driver training documentation and records for active drivers. Assist the logistics manager in the recruitment and selection process for new driver positions.
• Facilitating weekly toolbox meetings with the drivers.
• Post-accident behind-the-wheel re-training.
• Ensuring transportation-related driver training manuals and materials remain current and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with the Environmental Safety Manager and Logistics Manager to create and execute safety meetings, ensuring alignment with established protocols and objectives. Field excursions and route planning will be conducted as dictated by operational necessity.

Responsabilités

• Fulfilling any additional responsibilities as directed by the logistics manager. Daily oversight of assigned drivers and monitors is conducted to ensure consistent and proper execution of their duties. The Required Qualifications Are
• Grade GCE/12 Certificate
• Candidates must possess a valid PSV (Passenger Service Vehicle) Driving License.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license commensurate with the instructional level is required.
• Possession of a current, valid Driving Instructor’s License or Certification is required.
• Extensive background in providing driving instruction to learners is required.
• Clear driving record. The essential competencies for this position encompass the following:
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal, customer service, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong auditory and visual acuity, coupled with robust physical health, are essential prerequisites for this role. Possesses the capacity to remain seated for extended durations while effectively adjusting to dynamic variations in driving environments.
