Job Details Position: Company: Niajiri Platform Ltd Industry: Transport and Logistics Job Type: Internship Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania Job Description The Clearing and Forwarding Intern will provide assistance to the logistics team by managing import and export documentation, overseeing customs clearance processes, tracking shipments, facilitating cargo release, and organizing transportation logistics. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to expand their expertise, advance their careers, and gain hands-on experience in the fields of customs clearance, freight forwarding, transportation, and supply chain logistics. Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and processing of documentation necessary for import and export activities. Facilitate the efficient completion of customs clearance protocols and cargo release operations. Monitor the progress of shipments by coordinating with shipping companies, airlines, and customs brokers to obtain timely updates on their status.

• Coordinate and facilitate the timely delivery and transportation of goods to ensure efficient logistics operations. Ensure the meticulous organization and upkeep of all shipment documentation as well as client records, maintaining precision and completeness at all times.
• Collaborate with pertinent government agencies and key stakeholders as needed to facilitate necessary interactions and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements. Ensure adherence to customs regulations and internal company policies. Assist in the completion of additional tasks as delegated by the supervisor to support departmental objectives. Requirements Applicants should meet the following requirements: A relevant academic qualification in Clearing and Forwarding, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Supply Management, Transportation Management, or a closely related discipline is required. Recent graduates from the class of 2025 are required to apply for this position. Demonstrates foundational knowledge of import/export regulations, shipping documentation, and logistics coordination.
