Quality Assurance Engineer (QA) Job Vacancy Role profile Position: Quality Assurance Engineer (QA) Role overview The Quality Assurance Engineer (QA) serves as a key contributor to an Agile team, where the primary responsibility involves upholding comprehensive product quality by executing both manual and automated testing methodologies. This position encompasses the entire software delivery lifecycle, integrating quality assurance measures at every stage—from requirements definition to production deployment—to deliver dependable, high-performance digital solutions. Delivery approach and ways of working The QA Engineer plays an integral role throughout the entire delivery lifecycle, engaging in activities such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, collaborative development, rigorous testing, and final release validation. This position establishes and upholds rigorous entry and exit criteria while maintaining strict adherence to “Definition of Done” standards. Additionally, it facilitates and enhances structured testing processes throughout every sprint iteration to ensure consistent quality and delivery. The position incorporates a well-rounded testing approach that spans API, functional, automation, and non-functional testing, prioritizing risk-based methodologies, ongoing validation, and production readiness. Key responsibilities The Quality Assurance Engineer (QA) will oversee and ensure the integrity, performance, and reliability of software products through systematic testing methodologies. This role involves conducting comprehensive test plans, executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to verify resolutions. Additionally, the QA Engineer will analyze test results, document findings, and provide detailed feedback to enhance product quality. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in testing tools and frameworks are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to verify their testability and compliance with established quality standards. Design and implementation of comprehensive test cases and acceptance scenarios are required to validate both user and system requirements. Conducts comprehensive manual testing activities, encompassing functional, regression, exploration, and user acceptance testing to ensure software quality and performance standards are consistently met. Develop and sustain automated test scripts to validate user interface functionality, application programming interface performance, and system integration integrity. Integrating automated testing into continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to facilitate ongoing testing processes. Identifying, documenting, logging, monitoring, and retesting defects while providing clear insights into their root causes. Collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve technical issues through systematic debugging and implementing effective corrective measures. Responsibilities include monitoring critical quality metrics, such as defect leakage rates, test coverage levels, and overall release readiness to ensure alignment with established standards. Provide assistance with production incidents by performing Level 2 and Level 3 support tasks, as well as verifying the implementation of resolutions. Continuously enhancing test methodologies, refining user stories, and elevating the overall quality of solutions remain key priorities. Core skills and competencies Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the following skills and competencies: We conduct both manual and automated testing procedures to evaluate web applications, APIs, and distributed systems, ensuring robust functionality and performance across all platforms. Proficiency in automation frameworks like Selenium and Playwright, along with expertise in API testing tools, is required.

• Demonstrates a solid grasp of microservices, API development, and cloud-native architectural principles. Required competencies include proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, and SQL. Demonstrates proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
• Exposure to performance and security testing.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and analytical skills. Qualifications and experience Qualified individuals must possess the requisite qualifications and relevant experience as outlined below.

Expérience

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant discipline is required. Seeking a candidate with a minimum of two to five years of hands-on experience in software testing, encompassing both manual and automated testing methodologies. Professionals with a proven track record in Agile delivery methodologies—including Scrum, Kanban, Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and Test-Driven Development (TDD)—are encouraged to apply. Proven expertise in test automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline environments is required. Proficiency in API development, integration testing methodologies, and cloud-based infrastructure is required. Success measures Success in this position will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Increase in automated test coverage.
