Responsabilités
We are actively searching for dedicated and proactive Maintenance professionals who excel in delivering exceptional customer service and innovative solutions to meet our guests’ needs. As an Air Conditioning Technician, your primary duties involve the installation, maintenance, and repair of temperature regulation and air quality control systems. Your responsibilities will encompass critical tasks, including: Repair, maintain, and provide technical care for all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems throughout the hotel, including freezers, refrigerators, ice makers, fan coil units, chillers, and related equipment. Perform routine preventive maintenance on all air-conditioning and refrigeration systems throughout the hotel to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Monitor refrigeration systems and their components to evaluate operational performance. Ensure all door closing mechanisms on walk-in coolers and freezers, including door gaskets and latches, are functioning correctly.
- Conduct thorough inspections and ensure proper functioning of defrosting systems and automated ice maker controls.
- Work on maintenance requests from all departments Routinely inspect and maintain fan coil units along with air-handling unit filters to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor the operational efficiency and effectiveness of air-conditioning and chilled water systems. Collaborate closely with all engineering team members to identify failures in air-conditioning and refrigeration systems and configure their operational settings. Strict measures are enforced to prevent the release of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) into the atmosphere. Restructuring and comprehensive servicing of air-conditioning and refrigeration units and integrated systems.
- Inspect refrigeration systems and oil levels regularly, ensuring all major repairs are effectively managed and completed. Collaborate closely with the Engineering Storekeeper to ensure timely and accurate procurement of required parts. Perform all tasks in strict adherence to national technical regulations and safety standards to ensure compliance and operational integrity. Skills Education , Qualifications & Experiences Candidates should ideally hold a diploma in refrigeration system maintenance or building services engineering, complemented by prior experience in a similar role and demonstrated proficiency in operating and maintaining relevant equipment. Fluency in English and strong troubleshooting skills are also essential requirements. Knowledge & Competencies The successful applicant will demonstrate self-motivation, practical problem-solving skills, and adaptability to handle dynamic situations. You will exhibit proactive initiative, dependability, and composure in fast-paced settings, maintaining focus under pressure.
