The Catholic University of Malawi is currently inviting applications from qualified individuals for the following positions based at Montfort Campus, Nguludi, Chiradzulu. ACADEMIC POSITIONS Department of Accountancy – Senior Lecturer in Accountancy (1 position) – Applicants must hold a Doctorate in Accountancy from an accredited institution. – Lecturer in Accountancy (2 positions) – Candidates should possess a Master’s in Accountancy or be a Chartered Accountant from a recognized institution. Department of Marketing – Lecturer in Marketing (2 positions) – Applicants must hold a strict Master’s in Marketing or be a Chartered Marketer from an accredited institution. Department of Business Administration – Senior Lecturer in Business Administration (1 position) – Requires a Doctorate in Business Administration from an accredited institution. Department of Geography and Environmental Studies – Senior Lecturer in Geography or Environmental Studies – Applicants must possess a Doctorate in Geography or Environmental Studies from an accredited institution. ADMINISTRATIVE POSITION – Building and Maintenance Officer – Candidates should meet one of the following qualifications: – A Bachelor of Science in Architecture from a recognized institution, or – A degree from a vocational school or equivalent, supplemented by supervisory experience, or – An equivalent combination of training and experience. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate proficiency in construction techniques across diverse work environments, the ability to interpret project drawings and specifications, prepare cost estimates, and oversee maintenance execution. A thorough understanding of maintenance procedures and systems is also required.
