Overview Quantity Surveyor Officer needed urgently for a construction project in Togo. Role Summary: The incumbent will plays a vital role in ensuring the financial success of construction projects. The incumbent will be responsible for managing costs, budgets and contracts throughout the project lifecycle. What You Will Do: Will work on industrial, commercial and residential projects Ability to optimize financial resources of projects Accountability for project cost performance Accurate and timely cost reporting Project accounting Value engineering of projects and suppliers Management of procurement Procurement programs and cashflows Cashflow and forecasting Feasibility project studies required Estimates of materials costs required Stage 1 to 6 project process required to be executed and administered Negotiating costs and commercial aspects with contractors and suppliers Ability to manage and variation orders in projects Ensure effective interaction between commercial Ensure effective interaction between commercial team and site team regarding costings Improve systems to get cost savings Site visits will be required on on-going basis for cost assessments Technical Skills Extensive knowledge in Standard Systems of measurements Knowledge of JBCC contracts Project Management MS Projects Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Requirements Must be a Togolese National Should be fluent in French Should be able to communicate in English.
