Security Site Manager (Mining Operations)

Job Title: Site Manager (Security Operations) Location: Wassa, South-Western, Ghana Reports To: Operations Manager (Head Office, Accra) About the Company: Our client is a leading private security company providing premium manned guarding and electronic security solutions to clients across the mining, corporate, financial, construction, hospitality, healthcare, and public sectors. We are seeking a highly disciplined, experienced, and results-oriented professional to join the team as a Site Manager for operations at Golden Star (Wassa) Mine. Key Responsibilities Manage all security operations at the client site. Supervise, lead, and motivate security personnel to ensure excellent service delivery. Ensure full compliance with client security procedures, company policies, and statutory regulations. Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and security audits. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to the Operations Manager. Investigate security incidents and prepare comprehensive incident reports. Liaise effectively with the client, law enforcement agencies, and other relevant stakeholders. Coordinate staff deployment, scheduling, discipline, welfare, and performance management. Ensure adequate training and continuous development of site security personnel. Maintain high standards of professionalism, discipline, and customer service. Qualifications and Experience Applicants must possess: A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. Previous service in the Ghana Armed Forces or Ghana Police Service (mandatory). At least 5 years of supervisory or management experience in security operations, preferably within the mining, industrial, or corporate security environment. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent report writing and incident management abilities. Sound knowledge of security operations, risk management, and emergency response procedures. Good computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication.
