Credit Officer

Contract Type: Full-time, 8am-5pm
Salary: NGN 150,000 - 250,000 per month
Required Experience: Minimum 2 years as a credit officer in a microfinance bank, financial company, fintech, cooperative, or credit institution.
Education Level: Minimum OND in a relevant discipline.

Accessbest Capital is a growing lending company committed to providing accessible credit solutions to individuals and businesses. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven credit officer to join our team at the Satellite Town and Ikotun branches in Lagos.
Responsibilities:
Prospect and recruit qualified borrowing clients.
Conduct client assessment, verification, and credit analysis.
Recommend loan facilities tailored to clients' needs and repayment capacity.
Disburse loans, monitor their performance, and ensure timely repayments.
Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Achieve assigned disbursement and recovery targets.
Prepare and submit weekly credit and portfolio reports.
Ensure compliance with company credit policies and regulatory requirements.
Desired Profile:
Minimum OND in any relevant discipline.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a credit officer in a microfinance bank, financial company, fintech, cooperative, or credit institution.
Proven experience in loan prospecting, disbursement, and recovery.
Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
Good knowledge of credit risk assessment and portfolio management.
Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.
Preferred Candidates: Those residing near Ikotun or Satellite.
