Job Summary: The cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and orderly environment within the organization's premises. This role ensures that offices, facilities, and common areas are always clean, safe, and presentable, contributing to a healthy and professional atmosphere for staff and visitors.
Responsibilities:
Cleaning and sanitation: sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors regularly; cleaning and disinfecting offices, rooms, toilets, kitchens, and common areas; dusting furniture, shelves, windows, and equipment; emptying trash bins and disposing of waste properly; restocking toiletries such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels; ensuring cleaning tools and materials are properly used and stored; ensuring cleaning activities do not disrupt normal business operations.
Candidate Profile:
Minimum primary or secondary education; previous experience as a cleaner or janitor is an advantage but not required; ability to work independently with minimal supervision; good time management and attention to detail; physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks; understanding of basic hygiene and safety practices; honest, reliable, and punctual; neat appearance and good work attitude; respectful and able to follow instructions; willingness to work flexible hours if needed; must reside in Ikeja or its environs.
