Responsabilités
Serves as Protocol Assistant for the Ambassador, Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM), and Executive Office at U.S. Embassy Bamako. Provides protocol support to other Mission Mali offices as appropriate. Position is located in the Chancery Building and works under the supervision of the Ambassador’s Office Management Specialist (OMS). Expected to work independently on tasks assigned.

OPTION 1
Expérience
Experience : Three years of progressively responsible administrative, protocol, diplomatic, or event planning experience is required.
Formation / Diplômes
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Economics, Political Affairs, or English is required.
OPTION 2
Experience: Three years of progressively responsible administrative, protocol, diplomatic, or event planning experience is required. And, 2 years of relevant work experience is required.
Education: College or University studies in Business Administration, International Relations, Economics, Political Affairs, or English is required.
Language:
English : Fluency in English is required. This may be tested.
French : Fluency in French is required. This may be tested.
Bambara : Limited knowledge of Bambara is required. This may be tested.
Job Knowledge: The incumbent should have a good understanding of Mali’s major political and business issues as well as recent developments in U.S.-Mali relations. The incumbent should be familiar with the Malian political system and key political figures.
