LBS Media Group, a dynamic media and communication studio specializing in creating engaging content for social media and children's entertainment, is recruiting Locticians for its new studio in Lekki Phase 1.
We are a microlocs and natural hair salon looking for reliable, skilled, gentle, and detail-oriented individuals to join our team. We are seeking people who value meticulous work, gentle hands, punctuality, good energy, and a great client experience. This is a good opportunity for serious individuals who wish to work in a professional and calm salon environment. If you are a braider or hairstylist without prior locs experience but eager to learn, we are open to training the right people.
Contract type: Full-time, on-site Location: Lekki, Lagos Salary: 100,000 - 150,000 ₦/month (depending on experience, skill level, availability, and performance) Required experience: 1 year
Responsibilities:
Junior Locticians: Assist with loc maintenance, client preparation, parting, reties, and general studio services. Support senior locticians during appointments, keep tools and workspaces clean, and adhere to studio standards for hygiene, cleanliness, and client care.
Senior Loctician: Perform microlocs and sisterlocs-style loc maintenance, reties, parting, and client services. Maintain clean and consistent work, ensure quality control, guide junior locticians, and contribute to creating a calm and professional client experience.
Desired profile:
All candidates must be able to commute to Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. Candidates must be punctual, respectful, honest, willing to learn, neat, professional, and gentle with clients.
Junior Locticians: Basic experience with locs, braiding, natural hair, microlocs, or sisterlocs-style maintenance is a plus. Must be ready to learn and follow instructions.
Senior Loctician: Must have experience with microlocs, reties, maintenance, clean parting, and client care. Experience with sisterlocs-style maintenance is a significant asset. Must be able to guide junior locticians. Photos or videos of previous work will be requested.
