A fast-growing agro-processing company based in Igbariam (Anambra State) is seeking competent, skilled, and proactive technicians to support farm-wide maintenance operations. Ideal candidates will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, ensure the smooth operation of all mechanical and electrical systems, and contribute to overall operational reliability.
Job Summary
We are looking for hands-on, operational engineering and maintenance officers to ensure the maintenance, repair, and optimal performance of equipment and facilities. The role is responsible for minimizing downtime, supporting installation activities, and maintaining operational efficiency across the company.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities.
Support the installation and setup of machinery and infrastructure.
Conduct regular inspections to identify defects and maintenance needs.
Ensure the proper functioning of mechanical and electrical systems.
Maintain maintenance records and promptly report breakdowns or malfunctions.
Comply with safety, health, and operational standards.
Support troubleshooting and emergency repairs as needed.
Candidate Profile
Minimum OND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
2 to 5 years of experience in maintenance or technical support roles.
Basic knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
Ability to diagnose and perform routine repairs.
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety guidelines.
Willingness to work in an operational, hands-on environment.
Work Environment
Field-based role within operational and production sites.
Requires physical activity and hands-on technical work.
May involve shift work or overtime as needed.
