Solar PV Technician / Electrical Technician

Salary: KSh 30,000 - KSh 50,000 per month
Betech Solar Solutions is seeking a motivated and competent solar PV technician to join our growing technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of residential, commercial, and industrial solar systems across Kenya.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct site surveys and energy assessments. Install solar panels, mounting structures, batteries, hybrid inverters, and associated accessories. Perform AC and DC electrical wiring in accordance with Kenyan standards. Commission and test newly installed solar systems. Diagnose and repair faults in PV systems. Train clients on system use and maintenance. Prepare installation reports and documentation. Ensure compliance with EPRA regulations and company safety procedures. Maintain professional conduct during client visits. Participate in company marketing activities by appearing in installation videos, project presentations, educational content, and social media posts when required.
Required Profile:
Valid EPRA solar PV technician license (T1, T2, or T3). Certificate or diploma in electrical engineering, electrical installation, renewable energy, or a related field. Knowledge of domestic and commercial electrical wiring. Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Good physical condition and ability to work at heights. Willingness to travel across Kenya. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Honest, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driver's license will be an added advantage.
Salary and Benefits:
