Job Overview
The Insurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization's insurance operations, managing client portfolios, coordinating underwriting and claims management processes, and driving business growth. The role requires ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurance partners, and leading the insurance team to deliver exceptional service and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Insurance Operations: Manage insurance policy administration and renewals. Coordinate underwriting and claims management processes.
Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers. Address client inquiries and complaints promptly.
Business Development: Identify opportunities for new business and portfolio growth. Develop strategies to increase insurance sales.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies. Monitor operational risks and recommend mitigation measures.
Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor insurance staff. Conduct performance evaluations and training.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare operational and performance reports. Analyze insurance trends and business performance.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification in insurance (ACII, IIK, COP, or equivalent).
Required Skills
Strong analytical and leadership skills.
