Responsabilités clés :
Animer des sessions de formation engageantes en cybersécurité en utilisant des approches pratiques et hands-on.
Développer et maintenir des plans de cours, des exercices en laboratoire, des évaluations et du matériel de formation alignés sur le programme et les tendances actuelles de l'industrie.
Assurer la formation sur le campus de l'IST et chez les clients ou en sites distants selon les besoins.
Guider, encadrer et soutenir les étudiants tout au long de leur parcours d'apprentissage, en fournissant une assistance technique, en évaluant les performances et en offrant des retours constructifs.
Administrer les examens, superviser les laboratoires pratiques et tenir à jour les dossiers des étudiants, les présences et les rapports de progression.
Favoriser un environnement d'apprentissage positif, discipliné et inclusif tout en soutenant la recherche, l'innovation et l'amélioration continue de la formation en cybersécurité.

Licence ou Diplôme supérieur en Informatique, Technologies de l'Information, Cybersécurité ou domaine connexe.
Minimum de deux (2) ans d'expérience professionnelle pertinente ; une expérience préalable en formation ou enseignement est un atout supplémentaire.
Certification(s) pertinente(s) telles que CompTIA Security+/Network+, CEH, CCNA Security ou équivalent.
Connaissances pratiques en sécurité réseau, hacking éthique, tests d'intrusion, gestion des vulnérabilités, criminalistique numérique et réponse aux incidents.
Expérience avec l'administration de Windows Server et Linux, la sécurité des applications web (OWASP Top 10), la cryptographie, l'infrastructure à clé publique (PKI) et la sécurité cloud (AWS, Azure ou GCP).
Maîtrise des cadres et outils de cybersécurité, y compris NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, la loi kenyane sur la protection des données, Kali Linux, Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit, Burp Suite et Nessus.

Develop and maintain lesson plans, lab exercises, assessments, and training materials aligned with the curriculum and current industry trends. Conduct training at the IST campus and client/offsite locations as required. Guide, mentor, and support students throughout their learning journey, providing technical assistance, evaluating performance, and offering constructive feedback. Administer examinations, supervise practical labs, and maintain accurate student records, attendance, and progress reports. Foster a positive, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment while supporting research, innovation, and continuous improvement in cybersecurity training.
Profil recherché
Bachelors Degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field. Minimum of two (2) years' relevant work experience; prior training or teaching experience is an added advantage. Relevant certification(s) such as CompTIA Security+/Network+, CEH, CCNA Security, or equivalent. Practical knowledge of network security, ethical hacking, penetration testing, vulnerability management, digital forensics, and incident response. Experience with Windows Server and Linux administration, web application security (OWASP Top 10), cryptography, PKI, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Proficiency in cybersecurity frameworks and tools, including NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, the Kenya Data Protection Act, Kali Linux, Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Nessus.
