Job Context: We are looking for a highly motivated Assistant Product Engineer to support the development, testing, validation, and continuous improvement of Solar Panda's product portfolio, including home solar systems, control units, televisions, solar panels, batteries, and related accessories. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges, improving product performance, and working within cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
Support the design, development, and continuous improvement of Solar Panda products.
Plan and execute product testing, validation, and prototype evaluations.
Investigate product failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Improve product quality and reliability throughout the product lifecycle.
Provide technical support to operations, refurbishment, customer service, and other internal teams.
Coordinate engineering projects and support new product introductions.
Maintain technical documentation, technical reports, and product specifications.
Desired Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
5 to 8 years of experience in product engineering, electronic engineering, renewable energy, embedded systems, or consumer electronics.
Experience working with contract manufacturers or international suppliers is an advantage.
Strong understanding of electronic hardware, embedded systems, solar products, batteries, and consumer electronics.
Experience in product testing, reliability engineering, engineering change management, and root cause analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Python for technical data analysis is desirable.
