Description de l'offre

We are looking for a high-potential legal professional with early career experience to support the Legal Affairs function. This role is suited to someone who has gained exposure within a legal advisory firm or an in-house legal team and is looking to build their experience within a multinational environment.You will work closely with the Legal Counsel and chip in to a broad range of legal, compliance, and governance activities across the business.

Your day to day

Support the preparation of legal documentation for statutory meetings, including General Assemblies
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts (services, procurement, distribution, IT, partnerships)
Partner with Human Resources on labour-related matters, including employment contracts, dispute prevention, and compliance with labour laws
Ensure compliance with personal data protection regulations and internal data privacy policies
Provide clear, timely legal advice across a range of business topics
Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making
Support the implementation and monitoring of legal and regulatory obligations, including tobacco control legislation
Monitor legal and regulatory developments and provide relevant updates (legal watch)
Chip in to risk identification, compliance initiatives, and internal awareness activities (training materials, communications)
Provide general legal support as required by the Legal Counsel

What we are looking for

Completed degree in Law (LLM or equivalent)
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in corporate legal practice (law firm or in-house)
Experience within a multinational, international, or cross-border legal environment is strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of OHADA law and corporate law
Good knowledge of contract law
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & French is essential
Strong analytical thinking and ability to synthesize complex information
High level of integrity and confidentiality
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with digital/AI tools
No relocation support will be provided for this position
