JOB SUMMARY RequirementsA university degree (or its equivalent) in accounting or related fieldsMinimum of 4 years cognate working experience (Post NYSC) within an upstream companyProfessional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CIMA or CPAFinancial Modeling Skills (is an added advantage)Vast Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) RESPONSIBILITIES Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services.To register Vendors details on the ERPVerify all invoices with the Contracts, Purchase Order, delivery note and management approval Ensure all expenses are captured in the correct project accountBook approved invoices in through the defined accounting systemEnsure vendors’ payable are instituted prior to the due datesEnsure Monthly remittances of all statutory deductions: PAYE, Pension, WHT, VAT etc.Ensure proper documentation of all invoices processed on a real-time basis as defined via Filing PoliciesEnsure separate and proper filing of all payments made via Account Payable ModuleCarry out reconciliations with vendors as required.Assist in the monthly, quarterly and annual closing process (accruals, prepayments, etc.)Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and depreciation of fixed assets. REQUIRED SKILLS Accounting, Efficiency, Compliance, Financial analysis, Accounts payable REQUIRED EDUCATION Bachelor's degree
