You will lead the design and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) systems for a consortium of partners in Kampala. Day-to-day, you’ll coordinate data collection across refugee and host community projects, ensure real-time reporting to donors, and facilitate learning workshops to adapt programming. Expect frequent travel to field sites and close collaboration with IRC’s technical advisors.
Key skills to highlight
Demonstrate expertise in designing MEAL frameworks for multi-partner consortia, including experience with digital data collection tools (e.g., Kobo, CommCare). Strong analytical writing for donor reports and proven ability to train local teams in accountability mechanisms (e.g., feedback channels) are essential. Familiarity with Uganda’s refugee response context is a major plus.
