Team Leader / Project Manager

Description About the assignment Reference: EC-MENA/2026/RP/0008 – “Communication outreach and engagement on EU policies in North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf” (restricted procedure). Contracting authority: European Commission, Directorate-General for the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf (DG MENA). The contract provides content and logistical support to DG MENA’s day-to-day communication: campaigns and social media content, events, and media relations, targeting audiences in both the EU and the wider region. Working language: English (occasionally French and Arabic). Duration: up to 36 months. The role As Team Leader / Project Manager, you will be in charge of the overall implementation of the contract: leading and coordinating the team of key and non-key experts, managing day-to-day communication with the contracting authority, and ensuring quality and timely reporting.

Expérience

• University (or equivalent) degree in media, communication, audio-visual conception and production, marketing or advertising – or, in its absence, 5 additional years of professional experience in one of these fields (on top of the general professional experience below).
• English at C2 level demonstrated by certificate or relevant past experience. General professional experience
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a field relevant to the contract. Specific professional experience
• Minimum 5 years managing projects in at least one of the following fields: media, communication, audio-visual conception and production, marketing or advertising.
• Proven experience in managing a team.
• Experience in communication activities on EU policies in the Middle East, North Africa and Gulf region.
