Job Description

The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is seeking an Epidemiology & Data Analytics Associate for its Malaria team in Cameroon. The role involves leading epidemiological analysis, designing monitoring and evaluation frameworks, and providing technical support to the Ministry of Health. The Associate will generate evidence to guide program strategies and translate complex data into actionable recommendations. This position requires strong analytical skills, independence, and a commitment to improving health outcomes in low- and middle-income countries. Bachelor's degree in public health, epidemiology, statistics, or related field Experience designing and implementing M&E frameworks Strong quantitative analytical skills and proficiency in statistical tools Experience with national health information systems Familiarity with data collection and visualization tools Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Excellent communication skills in French and English Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity Willingness to travel within Cameroon
